Kyle Tucker and Jose Altuve provided the offensive punch for the Houston Astros in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series against the Texas Rangers on Saturday night. Tucker doubled twice and drove in three runs, while Altuve added three hits and two RBIs.

However, the Rangers pulled away late to secure a 9-2 victory and tie the series at 3-3. The Astros had won the previous two games in Houston to take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.

The Rangers scored three runs off Astros starter Framber Valdez in the first inning, but the Astros quickly cut the deficit to one with an RBI single by Yordan Alvarez in the bottom half of the inning.

The Astros tied the game in the fifth inning on an RBI single by Tucker. However, the Rangers regained the lead in the sixth inning on a two-run home run by Corey Seager.

The Rangers added two more runs in the seventh inning and two more in the ninth inning to put the game away. Astros reliever Bryan Abreu allowed two runs on three hits in the seventh inning, while Rafael Montero allowed two runs on three hits in the ninth inning.

The Astros and Rangers will play Game 7 of the ALCS on Sunday night in Arlington, Texas. The winner will advance to the World Series to face the Philadelphia Phillies.
