Denver Nuggets Contracts

Denver Nuggets Sign Trio of Young Players

Moves Bolster Depth Ahead of 2023-24 Season

Players Added to Nuggets Roster

The Denver Nuggets have signed three young players to contracts, bolstering their depth ahead of the 2023-24 season. Guard Collin Gillespie, center Jay Huff, and forward have all been added to the roster.

Gillespie, a 24-year-old undrafted free agent, spent last season with the Philadelphia 76ers on a two-way contract. He averaged 5.1 points and 1.9 assists in 47 games.

Huff, a 25-year-old center, played for the Lakeland Magic of the G League last season. He averaged 8.9 points and 7.2 rebounds in 49 games.

The third player signed by the Nuggets has not yet been officially announced by the team. However, it is believed to be a young forward who played in college this past season.

These signings add depth to a Nuggets team that is looking to make a deep playoff run in 2023-24. The team is led by reigning MVP Nikola Jokic, who signed a five-year, $264 million extension with the Nuggets last September.

The Nuggets also have a number of other key players returning from last season, including Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, and Michael Porter Jr. The team is hoping to build on its success from last season, when it reached the Western Conference Finals.
