Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024 to be Co-Hosted by Germany and Ukraine

Berlin Conference Focuses on Post-War Reconstruction Efforts

Investment and International Collaboration Sought for Ukraine's Rebuilding

Berlin will welcome the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) on June 11-12, 2024, a significant event marking the third reconstruction conference since the escalation of Russia's invasion. Germany and Ukraine will co-host the conference, emphasizing the urgent need for substantial investments and international support in Ukraine's post-war rebuilding process.

Despite ongoing conflict within Ukraine, the Berlin conference aims to rally the international community in providing financial aid, expertise, and political support for Ukraine's reconstruction efforts. The conference will bring together government leaders, international organizations, businesses, and civil society representatives to discuss and coordinate strategies for Ukraine's economic, social, and infrastructural rebuilding.

The URC2024 is a pivotal platform for Ukraine to present its recovery plans and seek funding commitments from potential investors. It provides an opportunity for international partners to demonstrate their solidarity with Ukraine and contribute to the restoration of peace, stability, and prosperity in the war-torn country.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz, in a press conference, highlighted the importance of the Ukraine Recovery Conference, stating, "Germany stands firmly with Ukraine in its efforts to rebuild and recover from the devastation caused by Russia's aggression. The URC2024 is a testament to our unwavering commitment to supporting Ukraine's future and fostering international collaboration towards its reconstruction."
